A managed project is the easiest way to get work done on Belancer. You describe the job in a few lines or a voice message, a Belancer project manager (PM) calls you to understand it, then sends a plan with a fixed quote. Once you approve, the PM hires vetted freelancers and runs the milestones, while your money stays protected until you approve each one.

Steps
1Tell us the job
On the Managed projects page ("Tell us the job. We'll run it."), type in What do you need? or record a voice message, then choose Start my project.
2A free call with your PM
Your request shows Request received, then Project manager assigned with your PM's name. The PM calls in your chosen window to agree the scope (Scoping call).
3Plan & fixed quote
You get a Plan & quote: milestones, timeline and price in your currency, with the managed fee on its own line. Choose Approve plan, or ask for changes (each change becomes a new version; older ones stay visible). A quote is valid for 7 days.
4Hiring
After approval, Belancer posts the project on your behalf and the PM hires the best-matched freelancers. The tracker shows Hiring.
5In progress
The work runs as a normal Belancer contract: you fund each milestone, the team delivers, and you approve. See fund a milestone.
What happens next
Updates come by email and on your tracking page. You can set a password to claim your account at any time; your project then also appears on your dashboard.
Troubleshooting
- My tracking link expired. Links work for 30 days. Request a new one from the expired page.
- Nobody called yet. Check the call window you chose and your phone. If it's well past 4 hours, reply to the request email or contact support.
- I want changes to the quote. Ask for changes on the quote; your PM sends a new version.
- I already have a Belancer account. We link the request to your existing account using your phone or email, so you won't get a duplicate.

- Managed is separate from Handpicked badges. Your PM chooses freelancers for your job; you don't need to search.
Tip: The more you tell us up front (examples, deadline, budget), the faster your PM can send an accurate quote.

Questions and answers
Do I need a Belancer account to start?
No. You can send a request without signing up. We create a simple account for you in the background, which you can claim any time with a password.
How soon will someone call me?
A project manager aims to call you within 4 hours, in the call window you choose.
How do I pay?
You approve a plan and quote, then fund each milestone through Belancer, as in any contract. The money is held as Payment Secured until you approve the work.
Is there an extra fee for managed projects?
There's a managed service fee, shown as its own line in your quote before you approve anything.
Can I write in Bangla?
Yes. Type or speak in Bangla or English.
How do I follow my project?
Use the private tracking link we send you. It shows each stage, your PM, the plan and quote, and progress.
